where is the best place to get wool from???

Well, there are a few places in Sheffield to buy wool, but my favourites are The Wool Baa at Hunters Bar/Ecclesall Road area, where Jill is friendly, fabulous and has lots of lovely yarn, and Peakwool's garage of yarny delights (just PM her for details). Also In town, there is John Lewis for lovely Rowan yarn (and other makes too) and Atkinsons has a selection of yarn too.

There are places online too, but the disadvantage with that is you can't feel the yarn to see if you would like knitting it first, and you have to pay postage.

I spin and dye my own mostly, but I also buy from other spinners/fiberaholics on http://www.etsy.com as it's great knowing it's come straight from the creator.

If i'[m in town then I'd also visit the above stores, as well as one little old fashioned yarn shop at firth park.
