Hey all

Does anyone know if The Cloud block HTTP downloads and media streaming?

Im staying in Glasgow and connecting via one of their hotspots and trying to download Quicktime and other stuff via HTTP, and it either times out or sits there and says "Getting file information...".

Also i cannot view youtube videos as the box is just blank.

Ive raised a ticket to The Cloud but was wondering if anyone else knew?

can't find anything on their site to say it won't work

they do say something about a neutral connection to your main ISP so it sounds like they should simply pass through any and all protocols but it may depend on the package you got from the cloud

also wikipedia reckon they have a fair usage policy to limit traffic but I can't find any reference to it on the could website, that may be stopping things
