Hey

My car stereo got locked a week ago and i'm struggling to find a place to get it decoded. The stealership would charge about £40 for it which is too much. Its an Audi Concert Blaupunkt Stereo. I know theres a guy in tinsley industrial estate that does decoding but he wouldn't touch an Audi Blaupunkt.

Does anyone know of any other place I can get it decoded.

Thanks

Do the dealers really charge £40? The last time I had to do this (admittedly some years ago), I rang my Audi dealer, quoted them the serial number of the radio, and the details of my car, and they called me back with the unlock code. No charge was involved.

I rang them up last week and they said it'd be about half an hour's labour which is about £40

It's ridiculous how easy it is to unlock stereos the security codes are supposed to detur theives- whats the point in them?
