Hideaway - Can't remember the singers but it went Ha-ha-ha-hideaway.....

Delacy

I've always enjoyed Snap; The Power.

Going back older still:
Prodigy - Outta Space
Real Mcoy - Another Night
Maxx - Getaway

More 'recent' stuff
Kadoc - Night Train
NightCrawlers - Push Feelin' On
Da Hool - Love Parade
Bucketheads - These sounds

Not sure if it's 'dance' but I'm also found listening to Enigma, Return to Innocence, when I dig out the old skool tunes.

Bah, modern music sucks :(

Interesting that some of the old trance anthems have now passed to classic status. Once crasher start doing events at carling academy maybe they could cash in and have a classics night

Well that would all depend if they are re-building- lol!!!!

but yes it is strange how a very large number of the big trancers are now in the classic status- anything from 98-2001 that was big in the clubs usually got a general release and exposing it to a far larger number of people i guess?

This thread is making me feel old. Most of these tracks I wouldn't consider old school dance anthems. I'd say old school was 88-93, but that's me showing my age.

I'd say anything released this decade couldn't possibly be old school, I'd say a track has to be pre 95 tpo be old school

I think 'Old Skool' is songs like Candi Staton - Got the love, Rozalla, Shamen...Ratpack...in which case my suggestions are nothing like. But the old school dance anthems for me are late 90's - just before.

Most of the songs on the Kiss Classics CD are what id consider to be some of the best old school anthems .
Some of my all time faves are
Bobby Brown - two can play that game
R kelly - shes got that vibe ( love all R Kelly's early stuff !!)
Montell Jordan - this is how we do it
Alot of tracks on that are mentioned on this thread :)
My all time fave dance anthem though has to be
Livin joy - dreamer ,
that song brings back so many memories of some of the best nights ive ever had :D

Leftfield-Not Forgotten

Top, top, top tunage. Good choice indeed.

?-The Sound Of Eden

Shades of Rhythm. Absolute classic tune, although their Sweet Sensation track was a lot better in my opinion.

And I have to agree with Wyexile - when people start referring to tracks that aren't even 10 years old as old skool classics, then you know you're getting old.

Some of my all-time favourite old skool tunes...

Andronicus - Make You Whole
Zero B - Lockup
Sonz of a loopdaloop era - Farout
Kicksquad - Soundclash
Sound Corps - Dreamfinder
Carl Cox - Let the Bass Kick
Gordon Edge - Compounded (Edge 1)
Force Mass Motion - Panic
True Faith - Take me Away

To name but a few. Given a quick look through my record collection I'm sure I could come up with loads more.
