Just wondering if your pets ever let you get to the computer?

I tend to use my laptop upstairs but if I take it downstairs with me, Takara tries closing the top to get my attention, Eddy's not too bad, when I'm upstairs using the computer, Smitch rarely bothers me as I got her a little bed that she LOVES and spends all day in, but Smudge my black DSH sits on the desk between the pc and I.

I then have to reach around her (as I am doing now!) to reach the pc and she will do her best to stick her bum in my face or hit the keys with her nose! I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the bum in my face!!!

Arnie dances all over the laptop when Im using it - or Alfie and Aero try to get snuggly right in front of it when Im sat on the sofa until I either move the damn thing or them. Ailsa sulks and jumps up n down off the sofa, rests her head on the arm Im trying to type with- generally seeks attention if Im surfing, working or even just reading. Bribes work for a short time - or (my secret weapon) the 'naughty lead' - put the blue lead on that we used to train her to settle n she sulks and goes upstairs with it on, usually being trailed by a barmy bengal who likes to hang onto the other end and 'water ski' across the wooden floor...

Maisey has turned the laptop off a couple of times, she also manages to change the resolution several times.

Th worst is when she gets a drink and shakes her beard - splashes all over the monitor!

My two aren't bothered by the laptop, mind you they have just got a new bed and I'm having to physically move em to make em go pee :rolleyes:

My dog bowie has masterd the art of getting me off the laptop and playing with him, he normally jumps on my knee so I can't see the screen, if this doesn't work he casually walks past power lead n pulls it out, and if all this fails he walks to the back door (pretending to need a wee) and as soon as I get up runs and pinches my place on the sofa!
and they say dogs are stupid!

LOL, all that sounds familiar! She hid my mobile in her bed once - no idea how it got there.

well at least she only hid it, mine's been chewed twice!

One of my rats, Merry, likes to talk to people on MSN.

Mine dogs dont seem to bother, but my sisters dog Sophie, when she is here, is a nightmare, she shoves your arms with her head whilst you are trying to type. One of my cats strolls across the keyboard sometimes to rub her head on my face.

Warning to all kitten owners, my sisters kitten picked at the letter "T" on her laptop, it only took a few seconds to get it off and she had to buy a whole new keyboard and have it fitted.
