View Full Version : Looking For MONA TINGLE lynblu 25-02-2008, 17:16 married to Walt, daughter Susan, son Walt? Relatives trying to trace her .............. Thanks lynblu 13-08-2008, 11:30 Still looking ......................... DannyGUK 13-08-2008, 11:45 I have heard the name before but not sure where but ill ask around for you. Regards hillsbro 13-08-2008, 12:53 I have PM'd a likely address. lynblu 13-08-2008, 15:01 Thanks for the replies, some more info if this helps? Monas maiden name was Blowe, she married a (Norman) Battle to whom she had 2 children, Norman & Jean. She then remarried, Walt Tingle. We know Walt died several years since but have lost touch with Mona (my nans only surviving sibling). Thanks again ............. hillsbro 13-08-2008, 16:15 The website findmypast.com confirms that a Walter Tingle, born in Sheffield on 14 February 1903, died in Sheffield in January 1999. Another death recorded is of a Mona J. Tingle, born 13 February 1914, who died in Sheffield in July 2003. The births index shows that a Mona J. Blow was born in Sheffield in the first quarter of 1914, and so it could well be that your great-aunt was the Mona Tingle who died in July 2003. If so, then Walter Jnr. may still live at the address in my PM. lynblu 13-08-2008, 16:48 The website findmypast.com confirms that a Walter Tingle, born in Sheffield on 14 February 1903, died in Sheffield in January 1999. Thank You so much hillsbro 23-08-2008, 08:49 Happy to help, lynblu. Anyone who needs information from birth, marriage or death records, or electoral rolls, is welcome to PM me. RiffRaff 23-08-2008, 09:10 Used to go to Jordanthorpe school with a John Tingle - he'd be late 50's now. Presumably lived locally. His whole family were Jehovah's, or some such.... |
