What are nice pubs and clubs where twentysomethings go to? I like these 18-year old students, but sometimes it feels good to meet ... uhm ... a bit older people ;)

Trippets is fab. It has a relaxed friendly atmosphere and does good food too!

Wednesdays good for Trippets - something a bit different

Thursdays usually Jazz I think, pay on the door if arrive after 8pm or get in early and get a table and maybe something to eat

Fridays - £2 on the door (not sure what time that starts) and a band. Tonight's band were ok - they've had better

Saturday - varies, there was a band on last week and they were pretty good.

Not sure whether they open Sundays and Mondays - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't? not sure?

I would say Thursdays a good day for starters, I'll probably be there anyway

Soulphisticated is a good place to be on a friday night where you can meet the mature clientel on weekend nights .Situated in tequila on west street,its a modern and stylish late bar, through out the week they do great offers on tapas and cocktail

verywhere is pretty mixed but theres a few classy places on west street, try the japaneses bar its ace!
it has a giant fat buddah and some cool seating!

Think you're talking about Bia Hoi...its not japanese. Its vietnamese themed. :)

It is a very chilled out bar to go to.

The Priory is good for food. Vodka Revolution, V bar, Fire Station all cool bars to go too.

For clubbing, Banus nightclub next to City hall. :thumbsup:

Thanks again for your help. Since I like jazz, I might try out Trippets on Thursday. Could you do me a favour and tell me at which time it usually starts and how much quid I have to pay for the entrance.
