As we won't be at Jill's on the 27th anyone who needs to get their knit on is welcome to the John Lewis group, which is in the cafe from 5.30 to 7.30. Everyone is welcome, and there's all the new season's Rowan stuff to browse! (Plus the cakes there are very nice)

It's the last Wednesday of every month in the coffee shop from 5:30 to 7:30. I don't normally put up anything about it here because it generally clashes with the unofficial meets.

I enjoyed myself, and had chocolate cake too!

Even managed to work out where I had lost a stitch on a patterned sock, eventually.

Lucy's swift and ball winder was a success and caused several non-knitters to stop and watch in a fascinated way!

What a shame that both groups are on the same day of the month - has a change of day ever been considered by either group - Knitbird and JillM ????
