Hey all,
A bit of advice would be really helpful here. Will be moving back up to Sheffield sometime next year and already thinking about what I can afford rent wise. I'm currently in London and paying £715 per month but it's likely I will take a pay cut up North and so i'm looking for lower rent.
Now, scanning through estate agent's websites like Spencers/Winkworths/Blundells etc it looks like the average rent for a 2 bed house/conversion is around £450 - £500 in a half decent area. What I need to know is whether this is a fair relection of 'real' prices or a scam to get you in to that agent's office? Also, has the trend down here in London of bidding a rental price taken off in Sheffield?
Any help much appreciated.
