I quite like wikipedia as a reference site and came across this earlier and thought I'd pass it on.
I use Firefox but there are instructions for Oprera users too (hello phan!).

I guess most Firefox users know that if you type 'dict' followed by a space followed by a word in the address bar it will automatically search dictionary.com for that word eg. 'dict aardvark' (without the quotes)
This tip allows you to do similar with Wikipedia so if you type
eg 'w aardvark' in the address bar it searches Wikipedia for your search terms (in this case 'Aardvark').

It's a doodle to do in Firefox just follow the instructions:

http://tinyurl.com/6alht

(Sorry... I can't get the URI to display correctly)

... the instructions for Opera are there too.

I tried (in vain) to do the same trick for the Sheffield Forum search page. If anyone figures out how to do it let us know!

Anyone got any other firefox tips?
