some of you may be familiar with da 4m's piczo page, and have had a snigger at some of the kiddywinks on Sheffield's estates who fancy themselves as gankstaz (or summink), but I stumbled across a few piczo sites that make me slightly uncomfortable
here's a starting point:
http://dog-soilders.piczo.com/?g=43449530&cr=4
navigate via the friends list
quite a lot of the sites associated with this subject seem to have password protected areas, and still more have some strange comments about prey drive and being 'game'
lets hope they are only "wannabe" dog fighters...might be worth ringing the police. i did that before when i saw a dodgy ad and they do look into it.
Very worrying, there are quite a few Pit Bulls on there. I wonder if we could report the site?
yeah if you ring the police on 2202020 with the web address and information on why u think its a dog fighting ring. ie terms like game, mixed breed studs , weight pulling and the like then they tend to have a look.
well I was struggling to pick some of the British sites from american ones, and there seems to be some sort of organised sports day which is about racing pulling weights and stuff - not fighting
although.... there are several dead links where sites have evidently been removed, and there are messages all over the place welcoming people back to the site - I'm assuming after a site re-build following removal for illicit content (but that's an assumption on my part)
pulling weights IS to do with fighting. its how they work out the strength of the dogs to match them up.if i can find more proof and that its english will call the police

Many of the photos on this site and 'friends' are British and identifiably so from road markings etc. - at least all the ones I saw were.
There are plenty of pitbulls on there, many up for stud or for sale. In one shoutbox someone mentions a dog coming on sale from 'Mayfield lines' - definitely pitbull. One thing I'm certain of on this site - they aren't being sold as family pets.
scary stuff- you have to wonder at the mentality of some of these morons and the pleasure they get from watching animals ripping one another to pieces.
I'm becoming more intested in the structure of how this all works
not one of the dogs on those sites looks like it's ever been in a serious fight - else I'd expect to see scarring to faces and torn ears
the pic of one dog in a dark carpark with a transit van behind looked rather odd :suspect:
hmmmm, it would seem that 'gameness' is a term used wrt fighting :suspect:
