Now I've found this wonderful forum, I hope you don't mind me picking your collective brains ;)

I live inside the city ring road... near the Devonshire Green - and you know what? I really am having trouble finding a decent place that delivers things like Pizza / Chinese on those nights where I run out of food at home ;)

I would go to Weatherspoons but that involves walking past a lot of places that frighten me lol because I was mugged near there not long ago :o

So far, I've tried

Oasis pizza (who were reasonable, but use far far too much cheese and it gave me stomache ache hehe).

Nibbles pizza (one of my flatmates like these a lot but I think they taste a little odd).

Chariot Pizza (friendly service, and I love the hot and spicey pizza these guys do, but the others I live with don't like it...)

I'm not in the delivery area for Pizza Hut or Dominoes :o despite Dominoes delivering a few times then deciding they wouldn't any more!

So does anyone have any other suggestions?

ps. was it any good from Pizza Hot 4 U - as I normally collect it from there, just wondered if delivered is as good? (Maybe I scare them?! who knows! lol!)

I plan on ordering in tomorrow so we shall find out :D

Hmm I usually get myself a pizza with chicken tikka on it (they are actually quite nice when hot, so make sure they get it to u on time!).

Just considering what you said, if you are walking down, go across the road to Imrans Diner (opposite the Pixxa Hot 4 U. They do good pizzas aswell, and reasonably prices but they don't delivery, be prepared to wait as they are usually very busy.

I feel like a pizza now (eating one, that is of course :) )
It helps me digest the sheer amount of math I have to do to get the bank manager to agree to fund my new project.

I got the Chicken Tikka, Sweetcorn and peppers pizza :) side orders of potatoe skins and cheese, wedges, and garlic bread (ordered for the house lol)

It was absolutely deliscious :D

And their menu is soooo extensive!

Stuffed crusts too :D

I live around the area that you live - by any chance, is that area called Headford where you live. If so this place is going downhill badly - lots of unsavoury characters living around these parts. I, too, was mugged just behind the new West One complex for my mobile phone when i was jumped by 5 black youths. With a culmination of issues, i have decided to move out of the area and i leave in november. I am interested to know whether you live around by me

When you say Headford, do you mean Headford Gardens area?

Yeah it's the headford gardens/mews/street area >.<

And yes it was there I was mugged where you were - two youthes walked towards me, each grabbed from a different pocket.

I got my phone back by smacking one of them in the teeth and tripping him up... stupid I know :(

They got away with some cash though :(

I'm desperately needing to move... but the rent here is sub £500 and for a city centre, thats a great price.... If anyone knows any other reasonable flats to rent...?

They've got a really good selection of dishes and do plenty offers (i.e. get a free dish when you spend so much, etc...) They're always our first choice when we have a Chinese delivered. (I think they'll deliver to most places but they do charge for it!)

All the plcaes around Headford **** are flats, all you need to do is drive down and write down the numbers of letting agents!
