Does anybody know how to close down a hotmail email account. A few weeks ago somebody changed my password and now I can't access any emails, there are alot of private and personal emails on there which I cannot access any more and just want it shut down as soon as possible.

Can anyone help, I've been on the hotmail webpage but cannot seem to find the relevant area to ask someone to help in this matter.

Thanks for the link Savannah, but it asks me to put in my password, which I now don't know, as it's been changed! :(

I know it was about 90 days of inactivity, not sure if this is the case now. I had an Hotmail account which I didn't use for over 12 months and it wasn't closed.
