Hi, anyone here stayed in Miami? I'm passing through in a few months with my family - enroute to Orlando, will be staying in Miami for about 3 or 4 nights, preferably on SOBE. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel on Ocean Drive or Collins Avenue, preferably between 5th and 10th Street.

I like the look of the Colony hotel, seems to be on the front of most publications I come across - aparently the most photographed hotel in Miami, given its location and neons. Its only a 3 star and quite reasonably priced for its location.

On tripadvisor it gets roaring reviews and really bad reviews so quite difficult to work out whether its good or not. It seems it may have had a very recent refurb!

Any reviews/comments or advice would be warmly welcomed.
