cheer up mate ... I'm sure you'll find somewhere soon and you'll forget the nightmare that is now ...
you didn't upset me at all, but I must say it's a refreshing change to see someone saying sorry on these boards...
best of luck with the move and look forward to seeing you all at a meet when you're settled in :D
thanks ruby,
i just hope things can get better soon

Moving house locally is extremely stressful, I certainly don't envy you having to move from one end of the country to another. I'm sure things will pick up very soon :) You move next week right? So just think... in little over a weeks time you and your family will be settled in the new place
Hi,
yes, moving is a stressful time.
However, the house that we WAS going to be moving to fell thru sort of :(
Its a long story, but it was no good, mainly due to our daughter.
Our daughter was meant to be going back to westfield school, but a house in tinsley was no good.
I know i'll have to keep on looking, but it feels a big strain on us
i had about 4 houses fall through and then when the `sold' sign went up on the one i got it took A WHOLE YEAR to move in.
when i arrived they hadent moved out, our van didnt have reverse (yes...very odd..had to take it back....in a full circle lol), all the locals were staring in the van to look at my stuff, i had to sleep in the living room coz they had left most of there stuff to pick up the next day coz there van broke down, i had no curtains, i got a egg thrown at my door, i got my doorbell stolen..great week that was!!!....oh and i had only moved 3months previously so i had to pack all my stuff and move things twice.
the joy!

I know how you feel, the sale of our house has just fallen through, again.
we had to decide whether to take it off the market altogether or get strong to go out and do it all again.
I can remember the elation that I felt when the price was agreed and we accepted our offer, back in December( for the 3rd time).
The way I look at it now is that I have learnt so much from this process.
I know that a house is never sold until completion, legally and that it is really about time that a campaign got going in this country for the Government to do something about this process.
It is messing with peoples lives, like you and me and many others out there.
The estate agents also have to put up with it every day and have to go right back to the beginning again, so it is also not good for business.
Solicitors also have to wait for their money.
Isnt about time the process was changed?
