Does anybody know of a nice hotel to book a room for the night where you can turn up and pay cash,in Sheffield or Rotherham area.Thanks.

Try these dont know about just turning up but it's in a very nice location on your way out towards Bradfield.

Strines inn does B&B too, a nice and remote place, with real fires.

Real Fires are hot..

A lot of hotels require a credit card now, even smaller ones as they use this as their security in case you trash the room. Wherever you go, ring and check they take cash first. My OH had to wander around town for hours once because I had his wallet and the hotel we were staying at wouldn't let him pay up front in cash!

You can pay by cash in many hotels. you need ID though. Passport or driving license.
