Whatif wewin 22-02-2008, 15:47 Is it right that Rafa is finally being replaced by a so called dream ticket :two former Liverpool leg ends
Sammy Lee and John Barnes?
I only heard it down the pub someone on about ...Barns Lee.
NEKRO138 22-02-2008, 15:48 :hihi: It's only February :hihi:
Yeah still plenty of time for Villa to go above you as well!
Only joking, hopefully Liverpool will get through to the next stage of Champions League and it'll boost them a bit.

Was it the same pub that a certain person was bragging Everton would win the UEFA Cup after beating the mighty FC Brann :hihi:

Doesn't matter if you do! Liverpool will win the Champions League and qualify anyway. Everton will then get dumped out at the very first hurdle :hihi:
LFCMadPaul 22-02-2008, 16:10 Yeah still plenty of time for Villa to go above you as well!
Nah, Martin O'Neill will ensure that Villa don't hinder Liverpool's Champions League place as he is hoping to take the job himself come next season ;)

what happened to mourinho
only a red ****e would come on a thread about evertons biggest ever european win and cause an argument. its pretty petty really paul. i dont care about if you have won bigger, your 2 most expensive players alone costs more than our entire team!
so were doing very well considering we arent one of the big clubs anymore, and im happy with that.

Cause an arquement??? Calm down Preach mate, it's only a bit of tongue in cheek banter!!!!
Everton are doing well and are probably the most improved team over the last 12 month. It will be a real battle for 4th place, I know that.
Chill out fella, I didn't mean any harm yeah :D

If Liverpool win the Champions League, there are only three places available for league position. Everton wouldn't even qualify.

didnt take you long
we had a very poor game, not one of our players played well. it will be tough but if we actually play near to what we have been lately i reckon it will be a good 2nd leg..
scottishdude 07-03-2008, 08:53 Spurs and Everton losing, Bolton drawing and Rangers wining all seems a bit irrelevant when you see what Bayern Munich is doing to the opposition. They seem unstoppable at the minute.

Didn't take him long :(
Well it took from the 24 Feb till 7th March.
Everton have been playing well though, some of the play in the last two games, before last nights, was sparkling.
I know that we did not perform well last night but the common tators on ITV 4 were pulling Everton down in almost every sentence. Even when Jim Beglin had recourse to see a good point about Everton he managed to twist it round, and finished every comment on a sour note.
I hope he is not used again for an Everton game.
