From the minute we went in we got the impression they wanted us sat down, eating and out as soon as possible. We were ten mins early and decided to have a drink in the bar but at the exact time it was booked for, a member of satff came in and basically demaned that we sat down, no choice or "Are you ready to sit down?" The food was decent enough and very good value for money, probably not as good quality as your average takeaway and a lot of lamb dishes(although very tender) The waitress tried to clear plates away whilst we still eating and one of the waiters had a terrible attitude problem. He took away a pint which wasnt finished and when we complained and asked for another he tried to put it on the bill and accused us of trying to cheat them out of a drink. The staff kept coming over and hovering around the table to get us to leavealthough we were in and out in an hour and a half. Suffice to say we wont be going back! |
