I'm looking for Joan Doreen Lautebach. Used to be listed at 30 Onslow Road, Sheffield (Endcliffe) in 1992. She was/is a nursing sister.
Does anyone recognize this??
Thanks!
Mrs G
Do you intend to return to this site, or are you one of the many who posts and then disappears?

Yes
before you can take anything from the forum, you have to give a bit of yourself.
How about posting on a few existing threads first
When the residents get to know your name a bit they will fall over backwards to help with matters like this.
Just trying to help..

Well, I'll say it if nobody else will!
Welcome to the SF Mrs G!

Well, I'm surprised by the 'frosty' welcome ...
Sure, I can post misc. chat on other threads .. but ... is that really what you want people to do??
Yes, I return often ... infact, I've been sitting here for many days and weeks wondering whether to post or not!
I feel a little frightened off now ...
Sorry Mrs_G, and welcome!
I've spent a number of hours (all in) searching for info for people on here and am dismayed at the lack of response from some first time posters. There seems to be a trend developing amongst 'geneology' people to post and disappear.
You soon make 'friends' on here, and as 'Coffee says, we'll bend over backwards once we 'know' you ;) Have a root about and join in a bit.
Point Taken ... I'm sure you get fed up.
I'm here .. and will continue hanging around.

Don't be frightened off! :D We're a friendly bunch really! A lot of us have barks far worse than bites, myself included!
