Just bought a new monitor set it all up, there I am browsing a way and it suddenly goes blue.... :( - reckon this is a job for the manufacturer? Or could it be a common easily rectified problem?

What have you tried so far?
first impressions point to monitor.
turn everything off and back on

Make sure the cables are properly connected. If it is VGA it tends to be the red that come out first so usually goes blue

I'd tried turning everything off and back on but then I thought it looked like the pins were bent on the VGA connector so I went under the desk unplugged everything checked the pins (fine) put it back in turned the monitor back on and it was fixed! Hmm I'll keep an eye on it anyway and make sure its not a temperamental badd'n. It was just worrying that it suddenly went blue I thought it was interference from the tv (which buzzed at the same time). hmm:huh:
