I am looking for the exact date that broomhall flats was demolished- can anyone help with this?

Not exact, but i would say they started demolition in 1984.

yeh i have heard those dates, i think most people say that it was late 1986 when people left their flats, but i need the precise dates when demolition started... iw onder if anyone knows where ic ould go to get that sort of information?

(My ex lived on Broomhall flats, (as mentioned in the threads about them elsewhere*) and summer bills of £400 a quarter were not at all uncommon.

He said that the underfloor heating could not be turned off.
