Would/Could he do a better job than Rafa?

Thoughts?

Yes he could and would. Look what he's done at Villa. Don't think he'd go though. I should think he's happy to stay put.

Nice to see you back Paul, Amazing what effect a 2 nil win over Inter can do.;)
Can't see O'Neil leaving Villa, not as long as the "Yanks" are at Anfield.

Cheers Scottishdude, been working alot so not been online much!

The 'Yanks' are only at Liverpool untill an offer that gives them a profit comes along, which shouldn't be too long now with the 'Arabs' waiting in the wings!

Maybe then O'Neil will be interested, who knows? I still think Mourinho will be installed once his 'till the end of the season' English ban has been seen out! Maybe the contract has already been signed?

Don't know how much truth there is in it, but I read today (OK... it was on Teletext :P) that Mourinho is looking likely for Barca as Cruyff is going off to Ajax (Johann is not exactly his biggest fan :))

To be honest, I'd hope that Liverpool went for someone "bigger" than O'Neill if they really felt they had to get rid of Rafa. Anyway, things only started going wrong when he grew that horrible facial hair - the solution lies with Gilette
