View Full Version : Please return my knitting related novels!
A quick plea, I know you have seen this plea several times before but...
Whoever borrowed my books 'Divas don't Knit' and 'The Friday Night Knitting Club' is finished with them, could they bring them with them to the next Wool Baa meet (I am not cross, I would just like to see them again) as my Mum wants to borrow them.
Maybe you could return them in cognito and leave them at The Wool Baa with Jill if you wish?
Thanks.
:suspect:Come on, own up, who's got them? Not me, I don't have books that don't belong me:suspect:
beansforyou 21-02-2008, 16:53 I've never made it to a meet yet so i've not got them..
maybe we could use our powers of deduction...
Not me! I don't borrow things because I just KNOW I would forget to give them back!
littlemissy 21-02-2008, 19:13 Not guilty. Mainly because I have never been to a meet :D
Not me either. I remember being there when you had the books, and made a mental note to look for them in the library as I wasn't sure how soon I'd see you to return them, so thought it wasn't fair to borrow them for months! :)
Lucy-Lastic 21-02-2008, 20:50 Not me either - reading eats into my knitting time:roll:
I know who's got them, now give them back or I shall name and shame!
Wool4brains 21-02-2008, 23:13 I remember being there but I know that it's not me. I do read, charts mostly.
littleblue 21-02-2008, 23:21 I don't read so it can't have been me :hihi:

I do hate to mention it again gempud, but about that fiver you owe me.........:?
Just a reminder to bring it nearer the top of the list again, the Wool Baa meet is a week away, and I would love to be reunited with my books!

No, no word on my books, but I hope I may be reunited with them again soon. Too late for my Mum to take them on holiday though, sadly.
beansforyou 05-03-2008, 10:56 Maybe we need to bring the stocks out and squishy tomatoes?
Joking aside, it's a bit crap isn't it, I love my books and I won't lend them out anymore as too many have never returned.
Hurrah! My travel-weary books have made it home! My Mum will be pleased, as she wants to read them. A good excuse to go north of the border soon, as I can take them to her when she is back from her holidays.
Yay the book drama is solved!
