They don't mind you going in even if you're not a student, which is nice of them especially because our public library is absolutely rubbish for a city the size we are. Hallam has quite a lot of interesting resources, anyone studying a foreign language for instance might be interested to know you can watch foreign Tv in there and assorted language videos etc. In actual fact I believe you can also use the Sheffield Univeristy library for those with rarified academic or literary interests,- at least you used to be able to for a certain membership fee. So anyone with time on their hands has no excuse for not making productive use of their spare time in Sheffield even if you're not officially a student.
