Hi

Can anybody please explain in what way the following is "skilfully extended?"

http://212.50.188.106/cgi-win/vebra.cgi?details1?src=vebra&PropertyCode=1104002/REDMI/21472/2

To my untrained eye it just looks like a cheap dormer conversions been stuck on the roof and the whole place has been decorated really tastelessly then put on the market at an astronomical price.

Or am I missing summat?

That loft conversion is the worst I have ever seen!!!!

We had a loft conversion done last year - the architect was trying to design us something similar to maximise the space...thankfully myself and hubby both insisted on a design that complimented the property even if it meant compromising on the extra space we would achieve as a result...looking at that thank goodness we did!!

Some people believe Big is better - this goes to prove it's not always the case!!

I am extremely pleased with the extra space we still achieved - what you never have you never miss!!

:D

The house has most definitely been 'skillfully extended' Okay it looks horrible but I would imagine the roof must of been almost completely redone and all the ceiling joists for the first floor would of either been strengthened or replaced with stronger timbers. Then you've got to make enough room to put in the second staircase as I wouldn't of thought the house had started life with an attic room.

Yes Wallbuilder - your point is true the builders did the work 'skilfully' no doubt to the best of their ability!!!

In my opinion the architect needs hanging - sheffield council need shooting for granting planning permission on this 'eyesore' and the property owners need they heads looking at for accepting such an appalling design!!

The property doesn't look nice inside or out and the price tag seems excessive!!!

The estate agents must be having a laugh!!!

That's because half of it used to be the garage!
