Plz Help....Mate of mine keeps gettin URLOGIC pop ups that seem to be crashing her computer. She as ran spyware-Addware & anti virus but cant get rid of it.
Any ideas???

Everything i have seen points to this being a nasty peice of spyware.
My advice:
Download, install and update Ad-Aware SE (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Spybot Search and Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/). Also install and update CWShredder (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html).

Now reboot the computer in to safe mode (Press f8 repeatedly while rebooting. select safe mode at the boot screen).

If your runing XP, turn System Restore off!. (Right click on 'My Computer', select 'System Restore' and turn it off.

Now run all the updated programs as well as your Antivirus.

Have all the programs fix whatever they find and reboot the pc.

Now turn System Restore back on again.

Did this fix your friends problem?.

Thanx for you advice I have emailed my friend with your suggestions. Shes not too clued up on PCs so hope she can figure out how to turn the system restore off. :bigsmile:
