What was the original purpose of the building that now is the SADACCA centre on the Wicker?

Its seems slightly out of place being very ornate with big stone urns on the top and carved faces supporting window ledges on the front.

I didn't know, but their website (http://www.shu.ac.uk/shucan/sadacca/history.htm) says...

"It was originally the Old Samuel Osborn Steelworks Building"
