The only place I can think of in the city centre, is Thornton's, they sometimes do scooped ice cream, but
a) I think it's only in summer and
b) It's only in cones.
They might be a Ice Cream Cart in the Peace Gardens, but i'm not sure whether or not thats just in summer too.
Only know what bars they are on eccy road, lol.

Le Patisserie on Ecclesall Road (near Spar / Hunters Bar) do some yummy ice cream x x x

Theres also one on the corner opposite Endcliffe Park - Junction of Rustlings Rd & Eccy Rd
