I thought SWFC had undersoil heating. Or has this become another victim of the clubs finances?

"The under-soil heating had been on since Sunday. But with temperatures plunging to minus 8 degrees in parts yesterday, the Hillsborough pitch was considered unfit for the game." - the Star.

So the system is inadequate then?

The 'mighty' Huddersfield - similar climate, but not a "massive" club - managed to get their game on tonight. And do they have undersoil heating?

Did the Owls have a few 'injury' problems, per chance?:suspect:

i would suggest that the U/S heating was turned off to save some money but im purely speculating.
