Too much sugar will not be good for a bird but I assume that they are not going to be oversupplied with this stuff. Consider the rodent problems if you throw foods on the ground and the advantages of using a bird-table (outside your window). poppins 01-03-2005, 18:44 Originally posted by cgksheff In general, it's OK. Yep, Just thought about other rodents after i posted, we do have a lot of scunks and raccones that go under our deck at nights, don't think i'll bother, thanks. Zebra 02-03-2005, 17:17 Aargh wait. You can mix it with fat or lard, add rice, lentils, cous cous, dried fruit and nuts, or any mix of the above. Mix it all up with the fat and put it in used yoghurt pots or tie string round it and hang it from a tree. The birds really benefit and they adore it. We actually do this with kids as an environmental exercise, it goes down well!
