Just attempted to dry swallow a pill.

Usually I have no trouble swallowing them without a drink to wash them down, but today, for some reason this pill kept coming back!

I lobbed it into my cake hole and swallowed and really thought it had gone, but I felt this... anyway, it took about 5 tries and by the time it finally went to gut-land, it had partially melted and left a taste in my gob that would make a rat sick.

This was a capsule and theyre designed to be swallowable but Ive managed to gulp down big dusty aspirin without much trouble- I mean, you HAVE to swallow those buggers fast because they taste horrible!

What about you though? Can you swallow pills and tablets dry? Or, like my other half, do you need to drink 10 gallons of water to help it?

I can swallow em dry but it aint advisable as they burn thi gullet!!!

No way would I even attempt to, even with water it's hit and miss sometimes.If it's a big pill I have to take it with milk, and Jabbers why would it take 5 attempts, why wouldn't you just get water when it wouldn't go down the first time?
