Anyone know the background (especially the recent stuff)? I thought the sale of their two players to Watford was supposed to secure their future for a bit?
Have they been over-spending to get promotion, or is it historic debts catching up?
its ken booth dragging the club down with him like the bitter old man he is.

If they do go into admin again then they deserve double the points deduction.

Yes, I saw that, thanks. There's not really any info. on why, 18 months into a two year CVA and with a recent transfer income of over £1m they are again in trouble. I've not looked into their signings this season, but I presume there were some. I just wondered if anyone here had any extra information. With regards Ken Booth, is he the one who owns the ground?

When we (Hereford) played at Rotherham earlier this month we were amazed to be charged £20 to watch League Two football (it's normally around £14 at most clubs in the division). Apparently the reason for this is that former chairman Ken Booth charges the club such an exhorbitant rent for Millmoor that around 25% of the gate money goes to him. You can't survive at that level like that.
Thanks for that- didn't know it was 25% of the gate money. That's ridiculous.
I saw it was £20 on the gate (it's £18 early purchase). We're there this Saturday.
