yes or rather a murderer .read a book called the sheffield hanged and came across name and adress from my childhood looked into it found one of them was my great great great uncle

Looks like I've got a black sheep in my distant past, perhaps it's just as well I don't know what it was for. If it was something really bad I may have to give up my job as Archbishop of Canterbury.

I think Black Sheep is a bit tongue in cheek, looks like they were people who appeared in news items.
