we will come to Sheffield in April for the world championchip Snooker.

I´am still looking for a good place to go playing snooker in the evening. Could anyone plz post a few adresses (close to center at the best) where we can play snooker?

Would be very kind.

Or a page with the snooker possibilities listed in sheffield.
A Snooker Bar which is open after 11 pm. would be nice!

Also we are still looking for a good place to stay.. some cheap accomodation for 4 Persons (self catering would be OK).
Also near centre!

I play at "Spot on" which is on the blue tram at the "Primrose View" stop going towards Hillsborough. Good place, open 24hours, bar doesn't shut til at least 12:30.

There are others but not closer to town.

There is a rileys just behind ecclesall road that is good!!!

Rileys on sharrowvale road behind eccie road , its open 24 7 and its top notch very nice tables.Its a 15 min walk or 5 min taxi ride from city centre ,thats your best bet

yes you have to pay to enter rileys or be a member. Yes it did used to be frames. It doesn't cost much (i think bout 7 quid for a years membership) and they have clubs nationwide in which you can use this membership. Open all night. You can pay hourly or pay 11 quid for a table for the whole night. Grovener house hotel is about 40 quid a night i think

The best 2 clubs in Sheffield IMO are:

147 club - Yew Lane, Ecclesfield and the one at back of Charter Row, near Stokes tiles. They have the best quality heated tables.

I'm not sure if they are 24 hours though.

I think Executive Snooker Club on Lescar lane, may be 24 hours but I've never been, so don't know anything the place.
