I have to get to Castle College on Granville Road for about 9.15am on Wednesday. I don't usually get the 41 but they seem to run on their own time, so what time would I be best off getting it from Birley Moor Road to get there on time?
TIA

Check 41 timetable on the First website?

Traffic around the fire station at Manor Top/Intake is pretty bad, so I'd say go for about 8.40 just to be on the safe side!

If it's important I'd go for 8.20, nothing gives a worse impression than lateness.

You are not limited to the 41, if you can walk 5 mins up the road you can get the 94/95/120 that stop just round the corner Opp McDonalds

Only on the way out of town though. Coming into town the 94/05/120 goes down the other side of Park Hill flats and onto Park Square roundabout! Only other ones that go down Granville Road to Granville Square I think are the 21/50/53 (Stagecoach NOT First!)

First port of call of course ;) "At regular intervals"

As for the 95/120 thing, the 95 would be much easier for me, but that means walking all the way down Granville Road and I don't fancy that much right before an interview...

Might not be running entirely to time due to diversion round the hole in Glossop Road - I know that's the other end but if bus has been delayed on way out and back it might not make the time up, or driver might need to take break.

I catch the 41 to work every morning (albeit before 8am). You're right in saying they are a law unto themselves.

I agree with heavenlyarts, 8.20 is probably a good time - bearing in mind you might be waiting a good 15 mins for one and the traffic after 8am means you can get stuck for ages. I'd certainly not be at the stop later than 8.30
