Don't know why but it seemed better when i was watching it as a 15 year old in mid 80's.

I wouldn't bring Red Dwarf back I don't think. Some things are of their time, and shouldn't be squeezed too much. Even the last series was a bit painfull.

I agree with remaking older stuff though. Land Of The Giants would be cool with today's special effects.

I would like to see some of the really old stuff like Champion the Wonderhorse & Mr Ed or maybe Daktari. I bet these would seem awful now, but when I was young - I loved them.

A new TV movie aired in the US as a pilot for a new series a couple of nights back. It wasn't bad at all, with a new driver (son of Michael Knight), a new car (Ford mustang), and a cameo by the Hoff. Showed potential for a new series, and didn't try to be anything other than Knight Rider.


Till Man mentioned V - they are still pursuing the possibility of a sequel to V, set 20-25 years after the 'Final Battle'. Sci-Fi channel were showing an intrest last year, but it didn't go anywhere. It was the original creator who was working the idea out with the concept being that the earth has been taken over by the visitors now, and the remaining humans are nothing but splinter cell resistance forces trying to overthrow the rulers. However the message for help that was sent out in the original show has been picked up and answered, and another race arrives...but is the enemy of my enemy really my friend?
I'd love to see V back. and Quantum Leap (another show which keeps getting hinted at a return to the screen).

I loved 'Crown Court' the times i was late back to school after lunch because i wanted to see the outcome guilty or not guilty.

Crown Court was fab. I also remember Whodunnit with John Pertwee which was brill.

I think years later the producer admitted that all the letters from "viewers", with great and fun things to do in the holidays, were actually written by the production team themselves as no real children ever wrote in to suggest building a spaceship from toilet rolls or making flower petal mosaics

I miss the US series they made which was sort of a sequel to the 1953 War of the Worlds movie.

It used to be on late night ITV at weekends several years ago and was pretty good IMO.

I think Father Ted could have run much longer but unfortunately the main character passed away so they can't bring that one back. All episode are classics in my opinion.

They should do more "Spaced" or a spin off if Simon Pegg and friends have a rest from doing films.

Actually, it was even crazier than that.

I'd love to see a special "6 Doctors" re-union episode of Doctor Who, featuring all the Doctors who are still alive, so it would include Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann (although technically he doesn't count cos he didn't do a series), the other bloke, and of course David Tennant.
