Going to the City Hall this evening. Anyone any ideas for an average costing superior tasting restaurant we can go to for around 6pm this evening?

I think you've scared everyone food critic with your name and your criteria incase we get it wrong. :hihi:
What sort of food are you looking for? When you say average price, what do you consider average price?

Sunday night and not that far from the city hall? Cafe Guru?

Scared eh? I promise no reviews will be posted! Around the £10/15 per head mark. Oh and anything except Indian food. 2 hours left. Come on people! x

I've been twice but both over a year ago. I thought the food was good but I hope they've done something with the lighting - felt like I was in a Brewer's fayre the whole time. (sorry - I did comment at the time) Long walk to the city hall though as I presume whatever you are seeing starts at 1/2 seven...
There is always Ask pizza! (Well i think it's ok!:hihi:)

Or have a lot to drink and go to Chubbys for cheese and chips when you come out!

£10/£15 per head?

How about the Forum - reasonably priced and i've never had a bad meal yet.
Ha Ha bar's current menu is quite nice at the moment.

Went to Zizzi last Friday - not impressed - usual chain restaurant with the usual menu and usual standard of food.

Heard good things re Strada - but think it's over the £10/15 per head limit.

Bit of a contradiction - 'average costing' - 'superior tasting'. Why would someone want to slog their guts out making the food taste superior then charge average prices? Bizarre.

Sanctuary is in town and the food was very good when I went last. Near the Cathedral.

I'll second Sanctuary, definitely 'superior' tasting! :)

A good Italian is BB's on Division Street, so not far either
