So I've finally joined the Sheffield Forum out of interest in finding fellow twenty-something knitters! Are there any 'hip, young and trendy' :hihi: knitting groups around Sheffield or what?

I'm going to move this thread to the SF knitting group- you'll feel right at home there I'm sure.

Well I'm a twenty-something knitter but I don't know about the hip or trendy part! There quite a few meets going on at the moment at various places in Sheffield but I am so not the best person to tell you about them as I only go to one of them every so often :)

Try the Cocoa Lounge on Ecclesall Road. There is a thread on it somewhere. They meet every Thursday from 7.30 - 10 p.m. and they serve hot chocolate........and they sell chocolates...............

There is another meet at the end of every month but I am not sure if there is one this month. Perhaps our GL, Lisah will be of more assistance.

I never advertise the meets at my shop in case it is construed as advertising. I leave that to Wheezy.........:)

There I was thinking that we didn't meet the criteria of hip, young and trendy and it wasn't that at all.

I wasn't hip and trendy when I was twenty something but I did knit a lot of sweaters.

We are all not 20 something you know, but 30 something and 40 something too - some a little older but a laugh just the same :heyhey:

The Wednesday after that (12th) would be my Birthday....If it was on the 12th I could make a certain someone drive me to the Wool Baa as a Birthday treat...not that I'm hinting for the date to be changed at all. No. I would never do that...
