Anybody else have fond memories of this place?

Low ceilings; curved walls; a huge bar that virtually ran the length of the pub; great atmosphere at weekends.

But what was the name of the lager that guaranteed a major hangover the morning after?

Can't remember the lager but I worked the bar there. Have fond memories of the cocktail training I had there :D.

Lots of city types used to drink copiously there in the day time though, as it was inn the basement though everyone lost track of time

It was always our last port of call before going on to Jose's on a friday night - oh the memories:)
