Hello everyone.

I would like to have a mirror made for my new house. Not sure of the size yet as I have not completed, but as I have not been able to find one I like, I thought maybe I could get one made in Sheffield. It wants to be quite plain with no frame but with a little etching or bevelling and would probably want to be approx 1.5m x 1m. I have a few magazine clippings of Art Deco/Venetian ones I have seen but they can be a little too fancy. I am hoping to bring some light from the front door into the hall.

So, to my question.............. can anyone recommend anyone based in Sheffield. If I have to collect it I wouldnt want to drive far with a large mirror in my little car over the bumpy Sheffield roads.

Just to hijack this thread, we need a couple of broken plain mirrors replacing into the existing frames.

Anyone out there that can do this?

I'd be inclined to try to people that cgksheff mentioned Tony they advertise all sorts of things.

Either try MGP as above or give a glass place a call - most of them do mirror silvering and will be able to help.

Mod Glass on Abbeydale Rd also stock mirror and can cut you panes to suit.
