Nothing would surprise me at S6:roll:

But I sincerely hope not - I believe Laws is the right man for the job, even if we do get relegated this season.

Whilst I always believed Laws was the right man for you at the appointment, he doesn't seem to be achieving the required results you are craving. It is imperative you stay in this league as a stature basis.

However if you do get relegated and start winning a few games you may see higher attendaces appearing. But it took you 2 season to get back to this league last time you went down, you may find it longer this time round.

I wasn't his biggest fan at the start of the season but i think we should stick with him,he should be judged on results with a full full squad. What is seriously needed is someone to come in quickly and offer leadership to the club. With all this talk of two investers been in advanved talks with the club i would be hoping it would be very soon, however we've heard all this before.

Have a look at most of the posts on the Blades managerial position, Most of them from our pink chums in S6.

Some Grunter even started a Robson thread for us about Robson getting the sack :hihi::hihi::hihi:

I'm a blade and being serious for once I think Laws is doing a good job for Wednesday. He has had quite a lot of bad luck and the state the clubs finances are in isn't helping. I've seen most of your home games this season and you have been unlucky in some of the games.

Don't forget that Brian Laws is working with one, maybe both, hands tied behind his back, so his team's position is not as much down to his management skills as Mr no-motivation was over at Bramall Lane.

Didn't go overboard on Sturrock but given Wednesday's flight, I have subsequently wondered many times what does Laws bring that Sturrock couldn't provide? A very difficult job but why make that change? Silk purse syndrome. The debt just means any half-decent players move on - thus making the task even harder for the oft-berated boss.

Laws could be Wednesdays greatest asset. He's doing the best he can with what hes got

Well said LAWS has a small team of players, he has not got the funds most clubs have got! the players he has brought in are good players to do a job for the team!!!

BUT owls cant carry on doing this THEY NEED A takeover and fast!!!

if there is to be any good news about a take over id like to think that Bl is still going to be part of the club, you cant blame him for where we are at the mo..... were skint and havent gave him the funds to blame him for owt...;)

what we need more than anything at s6 is a manager with long term Stability and Commitment!!

I hate to have to agree with the forum's Mr Negative, but even as a Blade I think the Owls would be foolish to sack Laws. I think he is a good manager.

As a blade I feel I ought not to comment on this but what the hell, laws is having to work against a massive financil crisis and he has had to sell his best players brunt mclean to name but 2.
I doubt even wenger could do better with that background,I dont want to see the pigs go down as its not good for this city and as long as we remain top dogs which we will I hope he does ok

Are you being converted?

I work there doing missionary work for you poor unfortunates. I remember the smiles of joy you had when you went above Sheffield's long standing number one team as we had a late kick off that day and the glee you all had when we decided to help you out of you troubles by letting you beat us
Most Wednesday fans know the situation isn't good but realise the Brian Laws is one of the good things you have got and you cannot keep changing managers every year.
I don't think you will go down this year but if you do I don't think there are that many better managers around, although Bryan Robson is now available.

we cant keep sacking managers, i was against sturrock getting sacked because he was doing a good job with the finances. laws has had to get rid of some of his best players and not had much money to strengthen with. even if we do go down, they should stick with him. we have proved in the past that sacking the manager doesnt work
