Went to see this film, and a fight broke out on the row behind me and I missed the last few minutes! What did Tommy Lee Jones say to his wife. Hope it was a 'happy' ending!!

I could tell you as I went to see it the other night, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone else who may be reading that hasn't seen it.

I'll print the ending in white type so you have to highlight it to read it....dont go blaming me if you cant stop yourself peeking:P

The film closes on Bell at home, reflecting on his life choices. Bell relates to his wife (Tess Harper) two dreams he had, both involving his deceased father, also a lawman. Bell reveals briefly that in the first dream, he lost "some money" that his father had given him. Bell states that in the second dream, he and his father were riding horses through a snowy mountain pass. Bell states that his father, who was carrying fire in a horn, quietly passed by Bell with his head down. Bell then relates that his father was "going on ahead, and fixin' to make a fire" in the surrounding dark and cold, and that when Bell got there, his father would be waiting. Bell closes the dream narrative, and the film, with the final words: "And then I woke up.

Fantastic film though, I thought.

Hey mouse, have peeked! Great, thanx so much. Am glad the fighters behind me hadn't got the same weapons as in the film!

I was a bit disappointed with this film I have to say. I thought the storyline was very unclear and disjointed. Two great actors (Jones and Harrelson) were badly under-used and their characters were nowhere near invloved enough. There was no explanation of who the guy that hired Harrelson's character to find the money actually was and what part he had to play in the story. The ending was seriously confusing - did the writers/producers just run out of ideas and not know how to finish it properly?

The characterisation, and the dialogue between the main characters was very engaging, as you would expect from the Coen brothers, but compared to all their previous work I think they have dropped a clanger with this one.

BTW - what happened to the money????

top quality movie - the bad guy was very sinister

BTW - what happened to the money????

Chigurh took it - remember the scene where Tommy Lee's character went to the Motel? Chigurh was there, and the camera zoomed in on the loosened ventilation grill - where Llewelyn Moss hid the bag with the money.

I think it's refreshing to see a film that has the cajones to make the audience work for the story and not have it spoon fed to them, like most Hollywood movies.

That is the ending in the book so they couldn't change it. I though it was a great film.
