Disco_Cat 27-02-2005, 17:02 Well to yourself is the first big step.
Kristian 27-02-2005, 17:10 Take them back, and the newsagent will think you're really honest.
Then you could start shoplifting without being suspected!

Sam Miguel 27-02-2005, 17:51 Actually, if you've read any of the two papers you 'stole' ( and it seems obvious that you did as you know what they are called) they are now second-hand.
Don't take them back to the shop. Take my advice. Break into the shop and put the value of the stolen papers into the till.
This is probably best done in the small hours. You need to pick the lock and then disable the alarm.
Once you have forced the till, put the correct amount in. Then you will have to adjust the paperwork.
Re-balance the accounts book, then the returns form will need changing by an increment of one on the Sunday Sport Column and the Racing paper one.
Don't scribble the existing entries out, simply put a line through and write neatly by the side. Oh, and in the main book, write in pencil. This is standard.
Don't nick anything. This is important.
Change the stock order form. You need two papers less for next week.
Alter the consigment notes accordingly.
Finally, you need to get the hell out of there.
Run, run, run.
Don't forget to reset the alarm as, if someone else gains entry afterwards, you may get blamed for subsequent thievery.
Sam Miguel 27-02-2005, 17:57 Well pointed out, Max.
Yes this is important as well.
You need to find one of the senior assistants, get them drunk, and squeeze the password out of them.
USE FORCE IF YOU DEEM IT TO BE RIGHT AND JUST!
Good luck.

Two of us talking twaddle. c'mon I thought 1 was bad enough.
ps remember to unstick the pages of the Sport :hihi:
Or just use them in the cat's litter tray, which is what they were printed for in the first place. Next time, make sure you 'accidentally' nick The Times and the Exchange and Mart.
Sam Miguel 27-02-2005, 18:02 Twaddle. Me?
