I've just moved house at the weekend and my poor pussy cats aren't taking to it well at all. They're desperate to go out in the sunshine they're miserable and leaving little presents all over for me.
Someone suggested using a Feliway Plug in, does anyone use these and are they any good?
 cheers

We use the DAP doggy version and find them very good, we've also had customers with cats who use them when they go away and they say they are very good.

Try http://www.nutrecare.co.uk they're very reasonable and quick to deliver- the vets will charge the earth for them.

We occasionally use Feliway plug-ins and the Feliway spray - it seems to help to calm them. If you can, leave a couple of your worn tshirts or other items of clothing about for your cats to sleep on- the familar scent should help to reassure them - remember- this is all new to them and the new smells are stressing them out as well as the fact that they cant get outside. Rub your hands on the sides of your cats faces and transfer that scent onto the doorframes and areas where you want your cats to feel comfortable- when cats spray, they do it to mark territory so by transferring some of their body scents onto the door frames or window sills, you are reasuring your cats that they belong.

Re; the little accidents- dont clean up with disinfectant- that will only encourage them to mess even more - use warm water and washing powder, or a proprietary pet urine/stain remover such as Simple Solution, Safe4Pets or Urine Off.

This is only a passing phase and your babies will be over it soon enough.
