Anyone know why most of the Bars/Clubs in Town seem to have a copper or 5 on them? It's been like it since Thursday and no one seems to know whats up.

There has been a local derby between uniturd and Rotherham(Saturday). The boys in blue had got word that the thug element attached to uniturd were out to start trouble with any Rotherham fans staying over after the match to enjoy a night out in a big city.

i was on west street thursday night, the brb bar had 5 police in the doorway while i was inside. It look liked they were checking the doorstaff out. Read in the star that this was happening in Barnsley.

Apparently the police were out with inspectors from the Security Industry Authority checking that Doorstaff were registered under the new legislation.

Rumour has it that a number of Doorstaff were taken off the door on Friday night as they didn't have the correct registration.
