Just pick it up on the Sheffield star website, do you think the outcome will be as we want it to be? it states that McCabe is very unhappy about saturdays diabolical performce....will he finally give him his P45? I guess this is dependant on tomorrows result again, surely losing will give McCabe the ammunition to say bye-bye to Nobson?

I like that bit in the article:
"McCabe, who missed the match when he was delayed en route to South Yorkshire from Toronto, is known to be deeply concerned at these latest developments after being briefed on events by his advisors."
So what did you discuss with him CB?

this is not good enough. travelling to and from brussells to listen to robson say "im going to turn it around" its just a delaying tactic to keep him in a job for a few more weeks. Mccabe needs to get his arse down to lane and see how bad the atmosphere around the club is.

McCabe has about as much interest in seeing United prosper as any fully fledged season ticket holder at Owlerton. Take my word for it it's a deliberate ploy to scupper Bramall Lane as a football ground, why else would a club appoint a proven duffer like Robson.

Corals and William Hill wouldn't even give me a price on Robson's being sacked this week, I thought it was worth a fiver after this little development.

"Yeah of course" A business man who invests a hell of a lot of money into his business to simply throw it all away by delibrately employing a man who will ruin his business and lose all of his hard invested money for him, of course!!!!! lmao
At the end of the day McCabe does have the clubs best interests at heart, he employed robson based on certain achievements earlier in his career, I mean don't get me wrong on paper Robson did mak an interesting selection, with one of his earlier achivements being getting a medioca north east team to three cup finals which speaks for itself, and on top of that he has had some success in this division before??? But.......it's now becoming increasingly obvious that Robson's Managerial skills are not suited to our team, he's not been making the earth move for us however questionably this could be due to the fact he's walked into a club that was allready built on warnock foundations and he's struggling to undertake the work to change that.
So as for the next step???? Well McCabe has to move quickly to protect his business business, even 1000 fans staying away from the lane has the potential to lose the club 1 million pounds profit a year believe it or not , so I think this meeting is very much a disciplinary meeting / appraisal, McCabe will give Robbo one last chance to explain our poor league performance, and if he doesn't get a satisfactonary reply from robbo he has no choice but to get rid of him as since being in the top flight financial stakes are now a very important factor to McCabe, with a much higher wage bill etc that to that of warnocks era, success is highly important in order for the club to line his pockets for him.
Hence:- Goodbye Mr Robson

According to Coral on talkSPORT this morning it's odds on for Robson to leave the lane before the end of the season.Hope it won't be as long as that...

Does tonights result buy Mr Robson more time? Personally I can see Mr McCabe deeming tonights result acceptable overall and leaving him in charge until the weekend at least as the cup is the only success we have had this season, however id Middlesborough turn us over Robson then has no more achievements at the lane, in fact the bang opposite therefore has to result in marching orders!

It's a well known fact that Robbo is addicted to sprouts. :hihi:

I just creased up laughing at this headline in The Guardian:
McCabe attacks Premier League
The man who appointed Bryan Robson at Sheffield Utd reckons that the Premier League is 'poorly run'.
Robson is a joke amongst the national press it seems, and not just with us Blades.

Now that Mc Cabe has finally got Ferencvaros he might've summoned Robson over to offer him the job of managing them.:D
