ok im a compleat idiot when it comes to stuff like this so if this is a stupid question or ive missd somthing blindingly obvious then fee free to shout
im trying to set up a wireless network between 2 comps
ehich ive sucseeded in doing, but how do i connect my broadband modem to the router
as the router has standed cat 5 cable connecters
and the out side of the modem is usb is it just a new type connecter i need r like i say am i missing somthing blindingly obvious thanks in advance....... asgarth

Unless your modem has cat5 then I think you may have the wrong type router. But please check with someone else.:(

to connect an adsl modem to a router ...the modem must have an rj45 interface. If you only have a usb port..then basically you are stuffed. You should ideally have purchased a combined adsl/wireless/modem router. Not many options i think, unless you are missing the fact that the router has an in built adsl modem. What make / model is it ?
