It depends how you want to sell it?
Would this be an ebay type business?

So what is it then?
How are you going to be selling your products?
I only ask because there are more options that just buying in bulk from warehouses.
Will you be selling over the internet or in an actual shop?

Do you mean that you are intending to open a shop, or that you are intending to supply to shops? Either way, what experience do you have? If you want to start a business then good luck to you, but please don't start up on a whim. Do your homework. Know your product / service, inside out. Do some market research (Who would buy your goods and why ) There are four things to always keep in mind: 1)The price you can sell at - 2) The quality of your product/ service -3) How quickly and reliably you can deliver. You need to be able compete well on at least two of these to stand a chance. 4) It also is an advantage to have a U.S.P. (unique selling point - the one thing that makes you a stronger contender for your customer's business than the competition). When you've got all that in place, be prepared to work some long and anti social hours (many of them, for the government !)

You don't have to buy in bulk to sell on, especially when you may have to deliver stuff further a field than your local area.
I myself, and a lot of other ebayers use something called drop shipping where by a warehouse type place will sell you something, in this example let's use a TV for £200. You then advertise this product on a place like ebay for £400 + postage costs of £50. Once someone has bought the product you get in contact with the warehouse and purchase the TV giving the delivery address of the person who bought it on ebay. So essentially you make £200 profit without even having to handle delivery or seeing the product.
It's a good way to make money easily and on a part-time basis. Obviously you need to choose your product wisely since theres loads of other people who decide they want to do this sort of thing as well but if you pick something that makes you a decent amount of money and hasn't been done as much as other products then you can be very successful.
My friend and I both started doing this when we were younger and made a fortune and he still does it and has made £5000 in a week before. I think he gets about £700 a week now on average though. He mainly sells ipod's and ipod accessories although the market is starting to fill up with extra traders.

Have you ever been in Bodycare when it was opened in The Moor?
That was a very popular place compared to Boots, Atkinson's and also John Lewis' little healthcare corner. Their prices were always that bit lower than their counterparts, and product range was well chosen. It provided a popular choice for the general market.
So, I do think that the choice of product is important. Since this area of business is hard to get into now as many poundland shops also sell at a very cheap price for the everyday products. If you notice, many of the products are European languages which meant it must've been supplied for cheaper. Something to think about.
hi give me a call I do something similar
