No, I dont mean knitting a 45rpm or an LP, Im curious about size.

You know that people often break records by knitting three mile long scarves or 10 foot teddy bears, well is there a record for knitting small? Whats the smallest thing its possible to knit? Is there a limit? Is it possible to take a couple of toothpicks and a ball of human hair and knit something really tiny for example? I bet itd be possible, after all, theres a man who can carve sculptures in wood thatll pass easily through the eye of a needle.

Whats the tinyest thing youve ever knitted? Are you ever tempted to go for it and knit something huge or really tiny?

How about the fastest knitter? She can knit over 200 stitches in 3 minutes.

I watched the video, that's impressive. It's the economy of movement that does it, tiny movements and not letting go of the yarn. I can do tiny movements with sock yarn and little needles but when I get to sweater sized yarn and bigger needles it all goes out of the window.

I can knit fast with little wool and little needles (not 200 stitches a minute fast though) but I can't knit fast with sweater sized wool. As soon as I get on bigger needles I slow down.

Time yourself w4b. Go on. Give it a go. Let us know how many stitches you can do on 2.5mm with sock yarn. Please :D
