how do i put a picture above my screen name?
please tell me the full process, as i can be a bit stupid.

Hi,

OK. Here we go....

Select the 'Your Options' link under Forum Contents (assuming you're logged in to the site).

Then select 'Edit Options' and scroll down to the bottom of the page you get sent to.

There's a section marked 'Avatar'.

Press the 'Change Avatar' button and upload the graphics file that you wnat to have as your 'Avatar'. This must be no bigger than 50 x 50 pixels and be less than, I think, 5k in size. Anyway, the program will tell you if you're too big.

Upload the Avatar and 'Submit Modifications'. That should do the trick.

Try a google search for avatar and a subject of your choice. Alternatively, you could alter the size of one of your existing photos!

I think the pic should be a GIF (and possibly a JPG)
If you want an animated avatar, do a google search for 'animated GIF'
You can re size them easily at:
www.gifworks.com
